Domaine des Ardoisières' Argile Blanc is a refined Alpine white wine, a blend of Jacquère, Chardonnay, Mondeuse Blanche, and Roussanne. Vinified with indigenous yeasts and aged for eight months in concrete and large barrels, it fully expresses the Savoy schist marl terroir. On the nose, it offers aromas of white-fleshed fruit, minerality, and hints of fern; on the palate, it is crystalline, fresh, taut, and pleasantly savory with a long finish. Perfect for aperitifs, sushi, fish, and white meats, it is Brice Omont's great estate classic: a perfect combination of finesse and mountain authenticity.
