Rueda
In the Castilla y Leon region is the name of Rueda, which is characterized by being the most famous white wine region of Spain. The area covers 76 municipalities between the provinces of Valladolid, Segovia and Ávila. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 700-800 m on gravel soils, where the Verdejo white grape variety thrives, which gives wines with a crisp acidity, very fragrant to the nose, with aromas of rennet apple, pear that they evolve in hints of hazelnut and honey. Other white-berry vines are Sauvignon Blanc, Viura, l'Airen, and Palomino fino. Among the red grape varieties we find iTempranillo, the main variety, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Garnacha.
