Friuli Venezia Giulia

Friuli Venezia Giulia is a region of ancient wine traditions found in northern Italy on the border with Slovenia. Much of its production is made with white wines produced with vines such as Malvasia, Verduzzo Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Vitoska and Friulano, But also the red wines touch excellent wines with vines such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Scootch, Pignolo, Refosco from Red Peduncolo and Tazzelenghe. The best areas for production are found in the southern part of the south: the area of the Grave, which is the largest area, called so called by pebbles and rocks, Collio and the Colli Orientali of Friuli, almost close Of Slovenia, where almost all native vineyards are cultivated, the Karst region, a subtle land language where heroic viticulture takes place on a dry and arid soil where Vitoska and Malvasia breed vines. To note the area of Oslavia where Friulano, Malvasia, Ribolla wines are produced with Friulano peaches, with long macerations on the skins so that the wines are orange and slightly tannic, and therefore they are called "Orange Wine".
