Pairings
The Rosso Alpino goes perfectly with first courses, stewed meat, semi-mature cheeses, cured meats like wild boar ham.
Cellar: Cantina Furlani
Furlani is located in Vigolo Vattaro, in the province of Trento. It is a small artisan cellar run by Matteo Furlani who cultivates its six hectares of vineyards with native vines such as Verderbara, Lagarino Bianco, Vernaccia, Nosiola, Lagarino Rosso, Marzemino, Rosara, Negrara, Lagrein and vines Such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer. The vineyards of Matteo are found on limestone soils and are cultivated according to the principles of biodynamics, refusal of herbicides, pesticides and chemical fertilizers. In cellar Matteo Furlani prefers spontaneous fermentations, indigenous yeasts, little sulfur and for travasi follows lunar cycles. Numerous wine labels are both firm and sparkling but surely the top wines of the company are the sparkling wines sur sur where the second fermentation takes place in the bottle and they did not break out before being put on the market. Wines of Cantina Furlani are of embarrassing drinkability.
