Chianti Classico 2022 - Montesecondo
The Chianti Classico di Montesecondo is a red wine that comes from a blend of autochthonous grapes such as mainly Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino. Refine in wood and concrete. It has an intense ruby red color and a nose with varietal notes of cherry and flowers, then a delicate spiciness and an overwhelming minerality. The sip is juicy, crunchy, fruity and very fresh, with slightly rough tannins and a long finish.

Alcohol content: 13%.
Aging: Up to 12 months in large oak barrels and in concrete tanks.

Chianti Classico - Montesecondo
Blend of classic Chiantigni vines, Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino assembled in vineyards during harvest. The grapes come from the oldest vineyards of the farm. The fermentation is spontaneous in steel tanks with maceration of about one month. Durable in oak barrels of 5 hl for 12 months. Chianti Classico Montesecondo has an intense ruby red color, with its nose sparkling classic deep and spicy cherry. In the mouth is fresh, warm with tannins in great shape. Persistent. A Chianti that represents the territorial expression of the Sangiovese. Aging potential of 15 years.
Service
It is recommended to serve it at a 16/18 ° temperature in tulip goblets. Wine to drink immediately but if left in the cellar a few years can give great emotions.
Pairings
The Chianti Classico of Montesecondo combines with pasta with ragù, roasted meat second, to try with a beef bun.

Montesecondo is located in the historical area of Chianti Classico, precisely in Cerbaia in Val di Pesa. Founded in 1999 by Silvio and Catalina Messan today it extends over an area of 20 hectares at 150 meters above sea level. The main purpose of Silvio Messana is to enhance the typicality of its territory, cultivating it in respect of vineyards and the land. This need has found an answer in biodynamic agriculture. The conversion took several years and is now complete, while the work of understanding the territory and the vineyard is a continuous process. The cultivated vineyards are the classic Sangiovese to produce a particularly interesting Chianti Classico and the Tin, one of the top wines of the company, and the Cabernet Sauvignon with which the Toad is obtained, a wine with an aging potential of 20 years.
