Service
We taste it at a temperature of 16/18° in tulip chalice. Wine to drink immediately but will express the best of itself in a few years. It is recommended to keep it in a horizontal position in a fresh, damp, dark cellar.
Pairing
Great red wine to match with first courses, second courses of meat, to try with a duck in wet.
Cellar: Herve Souhaut
Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet is located in the village of Arlebosc, in the North Rhine, where the most cultivated grape is Syrah. Founded in 1993 by Hervé Souhaut, which breeds 5 hectares of vineyards managed according to biological methods. The vineyards are typical of the Rhone area: for white grapes we have Viognier and Roussanne while for red ones we find Pinot Noir, Gamay and Syrah, some of these vineyards reach an average age of 50 . The cellar Hervè Souhaut makes spontaneous vinification with indigenous yeasts, uses little sulfur and refinement prefer steel tanks, wooden tin and barriques. Five of the labels produced: four red grapes, all monovoligno, Sirah and Pinot Nero, and a white composed of a blend of Viognier and Roussanne grapes. The Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet wines are fresh, fruity and very drinkable
