Le Marne's Gavi Oro is a wine produced with Cortese grapes that come from a 30-year-old vineyard located on a calcareous clay soil positioned 350 meters above sea level. The refinement on the fine lees for a long time takes place first in cement and then in the bottle. The slight over-ripening in the plant combined with the prolonged permanence on the lees gives a wine with great mineral expressiveness and surprising aging potential. Golden yellow in color with elegant aromas of yellow fleshed fruit, aromatic herbs and strong minerality. In the mouth a wine of structure and good balance with a nice acid texture. Closes long.

Barbera “Lia Vi” owes its name to a particular type of bird that nests among these vineyards. Obtained from the homonymous grapes in purity coming from vineyards with an average age of 35. Spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeasts in steel tanks with variable maceration based on the vintage. It continues its refinement for a few months in the same tanks. Ruby red color. On the nose it is perfumed with a bouquet of red fruit and floral notes. In the mouth it is dry, medium-bodied with a good acidic shoulder. An easy-drinking Barbera.

Morra Gabriele's Barbaresco is produced with Nebbiolo grapes that come from 60-70 year old vines. It ages for a year and a half in large barrels. An enveloping wine, to be followed in its evolution. Material, complex, it has texture and character. The nose brings back a tangible memory: the autumnal land of Barbaresco, when the countryside begins to rest after the efforts of the harvest. Withered flowers, ripe raspberries and lots of blueberries. The delicate tannin and tension in the mouth, elegant but well supported.

The Colline Novaresi DOC Spanna by Cantine del Castello Conti is a tasty and pleasant red wine made from Nebbiolo grapes. Transparent ruby red wine. On the palate it is elegant, vibrant, with good acidity, mineral, with a crunchy fruit and a long finish. A simple wine but not trivial, indeed, decidedly intriguing.

Giovanni Canonica's Barolo Paiagallo is made from Nebbiolo grapes from the hectare and a half of the Paiagallo vineyard located between 300 and 400 meters above sea level. Refine in concrete and Slavonian oak barrels of 20 hectoliters for at least 2 years. The Paiagallo is pale red with orange shades. Fine and elegant nose of ripe fruit, spicy notes and balsamic accents. In the mouth it is fresh, full, elegant, almost earthy with well integrated tannins. Very long finish. Only 6000 bottles produced.
