“Drogone” 2019 - Cantina Giardino
Cantina Giardino's Drogone is a red wine made from Aglianico grapes that come from vineyards that reach 75 years of age. Spontaneously vinified with indigenous yeasts only, it is aged for one year in barrique and second passage tonneau. The nose expresses decisive fruity aromas, such as plum and black cherry, notes of dried flowers and tobacco and ash. On the palate it is fresh, vigorous, warm with a long persistence and a slightly bitter finish.

The Drogone is ruby red with a garnet nail. The nose expresses strong fruity scents, such as plum and cherry, notes of dried flowers and tobacco and ash. The sip is fresh, vigorous, warm with a long persistence and slightly bitter closing.
Service
It is recommended to taste it at a 16/18 ° temperature in tulip goblets. Wine to drink immediately but will express its potential in a few years.

Cellar: Cantina Giardino
Founded in 1997, with real wine vinification garage owners that made in their garage in 2003 by Antonio and his wife Daniela Gruttola manage to buy a private cellar in Ariano Irpino nell'avellinese. Today Cantina Giardino has about seven hectares of vineyards all conducted in organic viticulture and vineyards that reach up to 100 years. All are located in various municipalities of the province of Avellino, and each has different microclimates and terroir. Maximum care is taken in the vineyard where chemical treatments are abolished, and the same care is taken in the cellar, where the fermentations are spontaneous with only indigenous yeasts, maceration on the skins are more or less long and refinements are made in chestnut barrels or oak and amphorae. The vineyards are all native, Fiano, Greek, Foxtail and Aglianico, which make up the nine company labels. Wines produced as naturally as possible to reflect the genuine soul of the land.
