Cellar: Nikolas Juretic
A recent company in an ancient territory. Ancestral viticultural practices to look to the future. The story of Nikolas Juretic juggles between past and future, in a rigorous, innovative, measured, passionate approach. Nikolas, after having enriched his wealth of experience and knowledge of the world of oenology by traveling the world including the one with the famous Simonit & Sirch-Vine Master Pruners, decides to start his own project. The territory is the hilly one of eastern Friuli, specifically in Cormons, right in the lands where he was born and raised. 1.5 hectares of vineyards that extend on the eastern slope of Monte Quarin, and are rooted in the classic land of Friuli, called Ponca. Among the rows of native vines such as Malvasia, Tocai and Ribolla Gialla. In the cellar, Nikolas takes great care of every detail, crushing done with his feet, spontaneous fermentation, maceration on the skins and aging in wooden barrels, all without adding sulphites. The end result is surprisingly fine and elegant wines, which tell true and beautiful stories, in the name of the highest oenology.
