Bruciso Rosso - Marco Merli
The Brucisco Rosso is based on Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes after the manual harvest are fermented separately in cement tanks. The maturation for Sangiovese and Merlot takes place in steel, while Cabernet Sauvignon is 11 months in oak of 10 hectoliters. The Brucisco Rosso is ruby red in color. On the nose it tastes of red fruit, undergrowth and spices. At the sip it is balanced, greedy and elegant with a good tannic structure.
Service
We taste the Bruciso Rosso at a temperature of 16/18 ° in tulip glasses. The Janus is to be drunk immediately, but if left a few years in the cellar can give great emotions.
Pairing
The Bruciso Rosso marries perfectly with first courses with important sauces, main courses of meat, to try with a grilled fillet.
Winery: Marco Merli
The company is located in Casa del Diavolo set amongst the Umbrian hills, and is managed by Marco Merli with the help of dad. Few hectares managed in a natural way where the result should be as healthy as possible through fertilization carried out with animal manure, green manure erborei, only treatments with copper and sulfur and the establishment of a coexistence between weeds and screws. The wine is made only in the cellar where you prefer the spontaneous fermentations with only indigenous yeasts and refinements between cement tanks, large and steel barrel. The cultivated vines are Trebbiano, Grechetto, Malvasia, Sangiovese, Merlot, Ciliegiolo, Muscat, Cabernet Sauvignon that go to make up the 13 labels that Marco produces. Wines not only tasty but also rich in details and emotions, multifaceted and very good.
