Les Corvées sous Curon by Domaine de la Tournelle is an intense and elegant Chardonnay that combines aromas of white fruit, vanilla and smoky. The mouth is full, round and powerful with a beautiful minerality. The grapes come from clayey-limestone soils. Vinification with soft pressing of the grapes with consequent static decantation for 24 hours. Fermentation and aging ouillé in used barriques for approximately 48 months on the fine lees.

Service

We recommend tasting it at a temperature of 12/14° in tulip glasses. Wine to be drunk immediately but will express its best in a few years. It is recommended to keep it horizontally in a cool, damp and dark cellar.

Pairing

It is perfect as an aperitif wine or for all meals, fish main courses to try with prawn lasagna.

Cellar: Domaine de la Tournelle

Domaine de la Tournelle is located in Arbois, in the heart of the Jura, and is owned by Evelyne and Pascal Clairet. A common passion for wine led them to create the domain in 1991 with the desire to produce wines that tell their region. Today they own 8 hectares of vineyards cultivated without the use of chemicals where we will find painte of Savagnin, Chardonnay, Trousseau and Ploussard. The vinification is carried out according to the tarditions of the Jura even if he likes to explore new paths. Each wine comes out at least 24 months after the harvest, a fundamental time to allow the wine to stabilize and refine. Today domaine de la Tournelle is considered one of the largest, most exciting and finest expressions of the Jura.
