Pinot Noir - Grawu

Pinot Noir by Grawu is elegant and deep. Cultivation of vines in Naturno on granite and gneiss and also in Trento on limestone soil. Spontaneously fermented with whole grapes and stalks. Subsequently aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.

Service

We recommend tasting it at a temperature of 16/18° in ballon glasses. Wine to drink immediately but if left a few years in the cellar can give great emotions.

Pairing

Perfect with the first courses, it is particularly indicated to accompany the risotto.

The company of Dominic and Leila is located in Cermes, not far from Merano in Trentino Alto Adige. Grawu is the combination of the two owners' surnames: Leila GRAsselli and Dominic WÜrth, a young Italian-German family who has lived in many different countries and places, and who have now found in the beautiful mountains of Trentino a place where they can take root and grow own children. Their idea is to make wine with the utmost respect for nature and the territory. For this reason they have chosen to breed their vines of Sauvignon, Pinot grigio, Gewurztraminer and Rieslingcon with the organic method, and to vinify in a natural way with without the use of selected yeasts, or other oenological products or techniques that could influence the wine in the its natural development.
