One of the new born in the Canlibero family, Supersannios is made from pure local red grapes. The grapes come from vineyards planted years ago by Ennio's father-in-law, and were sold locally. Ennio began to vinify them with a maceration on the skins of about 15 and he refined them for a few months in steel tanks. No filtration or clarification before bottling. Supersannios by the glass has a deep ruby ​​red color with aromas ranging from red berry fruit to spices. The sip is warm, enveloping, juicy and with good length.

We taste the Supersannios at a 16/18° temperature in tulip goblets. Wine to drink immediately but left in the cellar a few years can give you great satisfaction.

Pairing

Wine that blends perfectly with first and second meat, seasoned cheese, to try with spaghetti to the sheep's ragu.

Cellar: Canlibero

Canlibero is a splendid winery located in Torrecuso, in the Sannio Benevento area, a region renowned for its winemaking. The founders of this project are Ennio Romano and Mena Iannella, two young producers who stopped supplying their grapes to the local cooperative and began making their own wine. Ennio and Mena believe that wine is spiritual nourishment, but for it to inspire emotions and feelings of well-being, it must be made with awareness. They cultivate two hectares of vineyards, divided into different parcels throughout the area, all cultivated according to the biodynamic philosophy. The vineyards, located at altitudes between 420 and 470 meters on clayey and rocky soils, are all native. In the cellar, Canlibero wines are produced through spontaneous vinification with indigenous yeasts, without the use of sulfites, and without filtration or clarification before bottling. Wines know how to excite and communicate the ethics and personality of those who produce them.
