Il Brusato - Il Pendio

Il Brusato by  Il Pendio is a sparkling wine made from Chardonnay grapes. Alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous with only indigenous yeasts. The aging of the base wine takes place in steel for one year on the fine lees while the fermentation takes 55 months. The remuage is manual bottle by bottle. Only 6000 bottles produced. Brusato is straw-yellow in color with fine and persistent perlage. Hints of bread crust, ripe fruit and mineral notes stand out on the nose. In the mouth it is fresh, tense and elegant.

Service

We taste Il Brusato at a temperature around 10/12 ° C. It is recommended to serve it in Flute Ballon glasses. Wine to drink immediately but if left to rest in the cellar for a few years can give great emotions.

Pairings

Il Brusato is ideal as an aperitif, first fish dishes, a few fishes to try with a seafood platter dish.

The company Il Pendio is located in Monticelli Brusati, in the heart of Franciacorta, and is handled expertly by Michele Loda.
