Etichetta Nera Chardonnay IGT - Il Pendio

Il Pendio gives us this beautiful white wine based chardonnay, whose production has stopped in 2013 due to hailstorms that in recent years have hit the Franciacorta. Aging takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks for 24 months. Etichetta Nera is a chardonnay with golden color, making minerality its main characteristic. Production of only 600 bottles.

Service

It is a wine to be consumed at 12-14 degrees in glasses with large reds in order to enhance the aromas.

Pairings

Product of great structure, it is recommended to combine it with stewed fish dishes or white meats.

Cellar: Il Pendio

The company Il Pendio is located in Monticelli Brusati, in the heart of Franciacorta, and is handled expertly by Michele Loda. Viticulture is conducted by Michele biologically without the use of chemistry or additives and in the cellar only spontaneous fermentations, refining in Allier oak barrels, and bottlenecks are carried out by bottle bottle by hand and no sugar or Elements outside the wine after the opening. Its vineyards, located at 420 m.ds.l.m., stretch for 3 hectares and stand on dark ground limestone limestone whitish. The wines by Il Pendio are  authentic, landmark wines that give great emotions.
