Himmel auf Erden by Christian Tschida is a red wine that comes from a blend of Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon. Spontaneous fermentation in open vat with maceration of about two months and aging in large oak barrels. No clarification, filtration or stabilization and no addition of chemicals. Service

Christian Tschida cultivates ten hectares of vineyards, which extend on the shore of Lake Neusiedl in Burgland. The vineyards enjoy a particularly favorable climate, and are found on soils characterized by sandy gravel, schist and limestone. The vines have been cultivated for four generations by Christian's family, and his father was an oenologist who founded an association that promoted organic viticulture. Christian believes that the key factor in his winemaking process is the vertical press used, which applies a very light pressure, extracting only the best juice from the grapes. All wines spontaneously ferment on indigenous yeasts, are bottled without being flammed or clarified, and without the addition of sulfur.
