Anjou Rouge "Pompois" Clos Des Treilles
Pompois is a red wine made from Cabernet Franc grapes in purity. The fermentation is spontaneous and takes place in stainless steel tanks. Refine in second, third, fourth and fifth passage barriques for at least twelve months. Rest before being bottled for another six months. Pompois is ruby red in color with garnet. The nose has notes of ripe fruit, with hints of spices and pepper. On the palate it is warm, full-bodied, soft, with well-integrated tannin. Excellent finish with return of spicy notes.
Service
It is advisable to taste it at a temperature of 16/18 ° in tulip glasses. Wine to be drunk immediately but left a few years in the cellar can give great emotions.

Clos De Treilles is located on the gentle hills of Anjo, in the Loire Valley. Born in 1999 from an idea of Nicolas Reau, a guy with a bourgeois appearance, who after spending his youth in dance halls as a jazz pianist decides to devote himself full-time to the production of wine. It is inscribed in the faculty of oenology and viticulture in Montreuil. After finishing his studies, he began his apprenticeship in various Bordeaux wineries until he acquired the necessary experience and moved to the Loire to produce his wine. Wines that resemble each other, grumpy as soon as they are open and elegant and pleasant as time passes. Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc vineyards bred according to the principles of biodynamics. Clos des Treilles produces 6 labels; 3 with Chenin Blanc in purity and 3 obtained from 100% Cabernet Franc. Tasting the white wines of the Clos des Treilles is overwhelmed by an acid-salt-iodized wave and seems to feel the salty taste of the sea.
