Baby Bandito Chin Up a fresh and juicy wine made from Cinsault grapes in purity. The grapes come from a tree-planted vineyard planted in 1972 at an altitude of 220 meters on a land composed of decomposed granite. This vineyard produces small, concentrated and high acidity bunches. After manual harvesting, the grapes are left to ferment in whole bunches in 500-liter steel barrels with maceration on the skins for 10 days. Baby Bandit Chin Up is ruby ​​red. On the nose the aromas recall the juicy red cherry, the strawberry, and the notes of citrus and licorice. In the mouth it is fresh, flowing, with soft and popping tannins. It is a delicious wine, reminiscent of the Languedoc versions.

The Testalonga project was born in 2008 from an idea of ​​Craig Hawkins, a young South African producer with experiences in various cellars between Austria and Portugal, where he was fortunate to work with Eben Sadie, Stephane Ogier and Remy Pedreno of Roc d'Anglande, and Tom Lubbe of Domaine Matassa.
