Liber is an unforgettable wine obtained from a blend of Sangiovese and Canaiolo. The grapes come from vineyards over 40 years of age, cultivated in a biological-biodynamic regime. Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts and takes place in concrete vessels. The wine ages in wood for at least 12 months. Liber has an intense ruby red colour. On the nose the aromas are intense, with notes of red fruit, spicy and ethereal hints. The sip is structured, full, supported by good acidity and alcohol, with smooth and perfectly integrated tannins.

We taste the Liber at a temperature of 16/18 ° in tulip glasses. Wine to drink immediately but will express its best in a few years.

Fattoria Cerreto Libri is a wonderful reality located in Pontassieve, in the province of Florence. The property is built next to a wonderful eighteenth-century villa, and all around we find all the land that includes not only vineyards, but also arable land and forest to traditional fauna in the area of restocking and capture. The company cultivates the native vines of the area such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Trebbiano and Malvasia, in a biodynamic regime since 1997. In the vineyard they pay attention to the healthiness of the plant, and to do this they do not use synthetic fertilizers and enrich the soil with the practice of green manure and the aspersion of biodynamic preparations. Their wines have qualities of originality, frankness and integrity of fruit.
