Esencia Rural De Sol Airen Rancio - Bodega Bruno Ruiz
The Esencia Rural De Sola Sol Airen Rancio is an oxidative style orange wine, obtained from Airèn grapes, a typical Spanish vine. The grapes come from centuries-old vineyards grown in biodynamic soil on sandy-clay soils, typical of Spanish La Mancha. The vinification is spontaneous with only indigenous yeasts, characterized by a maceration on the skins that lasts a good 152 days. It is refined in cement-lined tanks for 36 months, in which a layer of yeasts is formed on the surface, called "flor". Without being filtered and without adding sulphites before being bottled. Esencia Rural De Sola Sol Airen Rancio presents in the glass an amber-yellow color with orange reflections. Oxidation plays an important role on the nose, but notes of dried fruit, aromatic herbs, spices, salty touches and poultry hints play an important role. On the palate it is dry, of excellent body, with good freshness the salinity, but its incredible persistence remains imprinted.

Winery: Bodega Bruno Ruiz
The Bodega Bruno Ruiz is located in Quero, a few kilometers from the city of Toledo, in the Spanish region of La Mancha. The winery is managed by Julian Ruiz Villanueva, a romantic winemaker who, in this dry and sunny region, cultivates 65 hectares of vineyards with native varieties such as Tempranillo, Tinto Velasco and Airén. Julian breeds his vineyards in a biodynamic regime, refusing any invasive treatment and any form of mechanization. In the cellar all the operations are almost carried out outdoors due to the great heat of the region, fermentations are spontaneous with only indigenous yeasts, refinements take place in amphorae, and before bottling there is no clarification, filtration or addition of additives. The wines of Bodega Bruno Ruiz are unique and fascinating and embody the most authentic and traditional spirit of La Mancia.
