"Erpacrife" is a sparkling wine that immediately expresses its character thanks to an intense input and a solid structure and is produced from red grapes. The harvest is early to preserve the right acidity and a not excessive alcohol potential, essential conditions for a sparkling base. After a cryomaceration of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation follows at low temperatures. At one part of the base the fermentation is completed in wood. In spring the second fermentation takes place in the bottle. After a rest of at least 24 months on the lees in the bottle, the disgorgement is reached with a final capping. Service
We taste it to a temperature around 8/10 ° C. We recommend you serve it in tulip glasses. Wine to be drunk immediately but if left to rest in the cellar for a few years can give great emotions.

Erpacrife is a young company specialized in the production of classic method sparkling wines which is located in Castagnole Lanze, in the province of Asti. The name is an acronym for four friends: ERik, PAolo, CRIstian and FEderico. Sons of wine producers, they met on the counters of the oenological school of Alba and decided to produce a particular and original sparkling wine obtained from grapes other than those traditionally used. In 2000 they rent about one hectare of vineyard and the first experiments begin. With the first vintage they produce about 500 bottles. The grapes are harvested in advance so that they have a higher acidity, and a part of the base wine is aged in wood. All wines rest on the lees for at least 24 months before being blossomed and all production is characterized by being undosed. 5000 bottles of Herpacrife and 1000 of White Dosage Zero are currently produced.
