Bandita - Cascina 'Tavijn
Cascina Tavijn's "Bandita" is a light and fresh red wine made from red grapes. The name Bandita was born to protest against the various failures (to fall within the denomination) that this wine underwent; Nadia has decided to keep the name also for the years where it does not take the denomination. The grapes used to produce this Cascina Tajavin red, which in Piedmontese dialect means the farmer's house, are grown according to the dictates of organic agriculture. Fermentation is spontaneous with only indigenous yeasts with maceration on the skins for 2 months. The next refinement is 2 years in old wooden barrels before being bottled without filtration. Bandita has a ruby red color. Floral and spicy aromas on the nose. On the palate it is fresh, enjoyable and with exceptional drinkability.
