Producer Herve Souhaut
FRANCE, RHONE
The Domaine Herve Souhaut is located in the village of Arlebosc, in the North Rhine, where the most cultivated grape is Syrah. Founded in 1993 by Hervé Souhaut, which breeds 5 hectares of vineyards managed according to biological methods. The vineyards are typical of the Rhone area: for white grapes we have Viognier and Roussanne while for red ones we find Pinot Noir, Gamay and Syrah, some of these vineyards reach an average age of 50 . The cellar Hervè Souhaut makes spontaneous vinification with indigenous yeasts, uses little sulfur and refinement prefer steel tanks, wooden tin and barriques. Five of the labels produced: four red grapes, all monovoligno, Sirah and Pinot Nero, and a white composed of a blend of Viognier and Roussanne grapes. The Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet wines are fresh, fruity and very drinkable
