KO in Côt We Trust - Thierry Puzelat, Puzelat-Bonhomme
A wine made from grapes of the Côt vine, better known as Malbec, and has given its fame to the wines of Cahors. Here it has found its place of choice where it expresses itself by giving leaner and less tannic wines. The grapes for the Ko come from a vineyard of 1905 and one of 1973 still free of foot with a yield of only 25 hl / ha. Spontaneous fermentation and aging in wooden barrels. Tourane Ko is an amazing wine with an intense ruby red color with an aromatic nose of black fruit notes and spicy features. The mouth is full but fresh with hints of black cherry and licorice. Minerality, elegance, depth and aging potential.
Service
We taste it at a temperature of 16/18 ° in a balloon glass. The Touraine "KO in Côt We Trust" is to be drunk immediately but will express its best in a few years.
Pairings
Excellent with meat dishes, we recommend it with a roasted rabbit with potatoes and peppers.
Winery: Thierry Puzelat, Puzelat-Bonhomme
Created in 1999 by Pierre Olivier Bonhomme and Thierry Puzelat, this company of négoce haute couture (organic and biodynamic plots of selected producers who were recognized for a price well above the market average) was originally called Puzelat-Bonhomme. Today, Thierry has returned to focus on his Clos du Tue-Boeuf and Pierre Olivier has started his solo journey. A very talented winemaker, he is churning out wines of great juice and with a particular attention to drinkability. Wines that are hard to get tired of.
