Cellar: Alice et Quentin Beaufort
The Domaine of Alice Beaufort was born in 2007 from an idea of Quentin Beaufort, son of the famous Jacques, of the maison André Beaufrot, pioneer of organic and biodynamic in Champagne since 1971. Quentin senses that the land they find in Prously sur Ource, in the Cote d'Or, Burgundy, they are similar to those found a short distance away in the Champagne region. He begins to produce sparkling wines following the Champenoise method and the artisanal and uncompromising production philosophy inaugurated by his father. The Domaine is named after his wife, Alice, and its sparkling wines bear the name of “Le petit Beaufort”, as Quentin likes to call himself nicely.
