Winery: Domaine Kumpf et Meyer
Domaine Kumpf et Meyer is located near the city Rosheim, along the famous Alsatian wine route. Born from the union of two distorted Alsatian families that produced wine, today it is managed by Julien Albertus, who is the beating heart of the Domaine with a look that is always projected into the future and with new ideas in mind. Juliene has converted its 16 hectares of vineyards planted mainly to Riesling and then to Pinot Bianco, Auxerrois and Pinot Nero. As in the best Alsatian tradition, the vineyards are fragmented so as to have many different terroir and as many micro-innovations. In fact, more than thirty cuvee is produced every year by Kumpf and Meyer, among which the two Grand Cru Bruderthal and Westerberg stand out. Julien's wines are theses and minerals, an authentic expression of terroir, easy to drink and without residual sugar.
