Cellar: Vignai da Duline
Vignai da Duline is a beautiful reality located in Villanova in San Giovanni al Natistone, in the heart of the Eastern Collies. It was born in 1997 by a young couple Lorenzo Mocchiuti and Federica Magrini who decided to take care of the vineyards of their grandfather Mario and to produce wines that were in harmony with tradition and territory. Lorenzo and Federica cultivate two historic vineyards, where there are some vineyards reaching 80 years of age, growing on land of limestone and clay grounds conducted in biological, surrounded by forests, hedges and grassland to support biodiversity. The names of the vineyards are; Ronco Pitotti, which stretches for six hectares in Manzano, where we find Friulano, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Pinot Noir and the rare Yellow Tocai Sauvignon plants, which made him in love with Veronelli dei Vignai di Dubline. The other vineyard is called La Duline, named after the farm, which has two hectares, where Ribolla Nera, Malvasia Istriana and Tocai Friulano are grown. Vinification techniques are simple and traditional, with fewer possible interventions to enhance the grape fruit. The production is around 20000. High quality wines that in a short time have conquered the heart of the enthusiasts.
