The cellar: Bressan
The cellar of Fulvio Bressan is located in Farra d'Isonzo, in the province of Gorizia. Historical Bressan, whose origins date back to 1726 by Giacomo Bressan. From generations to generation Nereo has arrived, but especially Fulvio, who after completing the university studies, he and his wife Jelena Misina are dedicated to managing the company and the international promulgation of the company, so that Fulvio is appointed "Noble of Friulian Wines" by Duke Emilio I. Fulvio cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards that lie on the pebbles of the sunshine that have the peculiarity of accumulating daytime heat and releasing it in the evening. The ideas of Fulvio Bressan to make the wines are very clear, no chemical scavenging in the vineyard but only the respect of nature, in the cellar only indigenous yeasts and traditional vinification, in accordance with a long tradition that refuses modernity. The cultivated vineyards range from native Schioppettino, Malvasia, Verduzzo Friulano and Ribolla Giallo to Pinot Noir and Merlot. Bressan wines are real, sincere, unique, intense as the strong and charismatic personality of those who produce them.
