Verduzzo di Bressan is a white wine with great personality and expressive power that ages on the fine lees in barrique for about 8 months. It is a rare interpretation of dry Verduzzo. The nose reveals a large and fresh bouquet with aromas reminiscent of apple, pear, nectarine, apricot, acacia. The taste is dry, full-bodied, enveloping, slightly tannic, balanced, and with a pleasant almond aftertaste. Native Friulian wine for great connoisseurs.

Verduzzo - Bressan

Verduzzo by Bressan is a white wine that is produced from grapes of the homonymous grape variety. The grapes come from vines grown without the use of chemical products and are located on clayey soils with the presence of schist limestone marls. The harvest is slightly late and is performed exclusively by hand. In the cellar, the grapes are pressed and crushed, followed by the drawing off and subsequent soft pressing. After fermentation with maceration on the skins for about 20/25 days, it is decanted in 225 liter barriques, with its own yeasts, and the fermentation activity "sur lie" is continued for at least 8 months. Following the union of the barriques and storage in stainless steel containers for further aging for at least 2 - 3 months. This process makes it possible to obtain a long aging white. Verduzzo by Bressan is amber in color. The nose reveals a broad and fresh bouquet with aromas reminiscent of apple, pear, walnut peach, apricot, acacia. The taste is dry, full-bodied, enveloping, slightly tannic, balanced, and with a pleasant almond aftertaste. A native Friulian wine from great connoisseurs.

Service

We recommend tasting Verduzzo at a temperature of 8/10 ° in tulip goblets. Wine to drink immediately but if left a few years in the cellar can give great emotions.

Pairing

Verduzzo is great with grilled vegetables, baked fish, to try with a squid of squid, shrimp and zucchini.

The cultivated vineyards range from native Schioppettino, Malvasia, Verduzzo Friulano and Ribolla Giallo to Pinot Noir and Merlot. Bressan's wines are real, sincere, unique, intense as the strong and charismatic personality of those who produce them.
