Cellar: Martin Arndorfer
The Martin Arndorfer company is located in the village of Strass, surrounded by the valley of Kamp. Martin is a young vintner who has taken over the family business after having experienced around the world, particularly in Italy. In this project he is helped by his wife Anna Steininger, who is the daughter of that Karl Steininger, One of the largest Austrian wine producers. Martin Arndorfer produces only two Riesling Renano-based wines and Gruner Veltliner, the most cultivated white berry in Austria, and is fortunate that its vineyards grow on two types of soil; Sand, clay and silt that are ideal for Gruner Veltliner, and rock for Riesling Renano. The company produces about 45,000 bottles a year. Absolutely territorial wines that reflect Martin's vision for wine made of passion, research and terroir.
