Romorantin Thierry Puzelat - Clos du Tue-Boeuf
Obtained from a rare white grape typical of the Loire, the Romorantin, which originates from two distinct vineyards, one of 1905 and the other in 1973, both free of foot on flint stone grounds. Vinification and refining take place in barriques for 12 months. The result is this amazing straw-yellow wine with fruity and floral aromas and mineral notes. The palate is distinguished by elegance, freshness and depth. Great aging potential.
Service
We taste a temperature of 8/10 ° in the tulip chalice. The Romarantin is to drink at once but has a great potential for aging.
Pairings
The Thierry Puzelat's Romorantin is great as an aperitif and matches perfectly with the second fish dishes, to try with wet cuttlefish.
Cellar: Thierry Puzelat, Clos du Tue-Boeuf
The "Tue-Boeuf" is a magical place in the Touraine name in the central Loire, where texts have been found to prove that wine has been produced in this area since the Middle Ages and linked the Puzelat family to these lands since 15 ° Century. In the early 90's, the heirs of this historic family, Thierry and his brother Jean-Marie, decided to leave their professions and start following the family business to produce wines that talked about the territory they came from. 10 hectares of properties plus 6 properties, all cultivated according to biodynamic principles, where Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and the rare Pineau Menu are cultivated, a white grape variety typical of the Loire that is distinguished by its acidity. Thierry has become one of France's finest wine-makers and its wines are very expressive, mineral and have great acidity
