Service
We suggest to taste it at a temperature of 8/10° in tulipano goblets. Wine to be drunk immediately, but it will express its best in a few years. It is advisable to keep it in a horizontal position in a cool, damp and dark cellar.
Pairing
A wine that can be tasted as an aperitif or paired with first courses to try with a salad of salted meat.
Winery: Dluhe Grefty,
Dluhe Grefty, which translates into long rows of vineyards, is a winery located in Mutěnice, a city located in the south of the Czech Republic. Dluhe Grefty is the project of Jaroslav Tesarik who together with his family cultivates 1.5 hectares of vineyards divided on 8 different small plots, all treatments are carried out naturally. The soil here is made up of loess and clay and the cultivated varieties are Muller Thurgau, Gewurztraminer, Neuburger, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Welschriesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Neronet and other unknown varieties. The wines ferment with indigenous yeasts and usually refine one year in old 225 liter oak barrels on the fine lees. Then they are bottled without clarifications and filters. Jaroslav started selling his wine only in 2015 and in a short time his wines gained the admiration of fans from all over the world. As Jaroslav himself admitted: "We try to find the Mutěnice terroir. Without alchemy cellar" The total production is 5000 bottles per year
