Dluhe Grefty, which translates into long rows of vineyards, is a winery located in Mutěnice, a town located in the south of the Czech Republic. Dluhe Grefty is the project of Jaroslav Tesarik who together with his family cultivate 1.5 hectares of divided vineyards on 8 different small plots, all treatments are carried out naturally. The soil here is made up of loess and clay, and the varieties grown are Muller Thurgau, Gewurztraminer, Neuburger, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Welschriesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Neronet and other unknown varieties. The wines ferment with indigenous yeasts and usually refine one year in old 225 l oak barrels on the fine lees. Then they are bottled without clarification and filtering. Jaroslav started selling his wine only in 2015, and in a short time his wines gained the admiration of fans all over the world. As Jaroslav himself admitted: "We try to find the Mutěnice terroir.
