Terpin's Quinto Quarto Bianco Sivi is a macerated white wine based on Pinot grigio. The nose has intense aromas of macerated fruit, citrus peel, and notes of spices, resin and acacia honey. On the palate it is dry, enveloping, full-bodied, with good freshness, and with a light tannic texture but absolutely delightful and drinkable.

Quinto Quarto Bianco Sivi is an orange wine made from pure Pinot Grigio grapes. The grapes come from the Stamas vineyard located on Mount Calvario at 100-150 m.s.l.m. on land of marly origin. Manual harvest, and spontaneous fermentation for 8 months with 3 days maceration on the skins. It is refined for some months in steel tanks. The Quinto Quarto Bianco Sivi is golden yellow. The nose has intense aromas of macerated fruit, citrus peel, and notes of spices, resin and acacia honey. On the palate it is dry, enveloping, with a good body, with good freshness, and with a light tannic texture but absolutely delicious and easy to drink.
Service
We recommend tasting it at a temperature of 12/14 ° in tulip glasses. Daily wine that holds a few years in the cellar.
Pairing
Excellent with first courses, risottos, soups, white meats, to try with a fish soup.

The company of Franco Terpin is located in San Floriano del Collio, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a few steps from the border of Slovenia, in that area famous for the production of Orange wine. Franco created the company, together with his wife, in 1994 and today owns about 10 hectares of vineyards located in a hilly area, partly in Italy and partly in Slovenia. All vineyards rest on clay-rich soils and are reared according to organic practices, the cultivated varieties are Ribolla Gialla, Tocai Friulano, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. In the cellar it does not use chemical substances, but only indigenous yeasts, barrel aging and no filtration. Its wines are all macerated for a time that varies from 3 to 8 days, refined for 3 years in wooden barrels and then steel before being sold. Only 20000 bottles produced, of these unique wines, the soul of the territory and decided as the one who produces them.
