It is a sparkling wine with persistent ruby red bubbles and intense purple reflections, delicate floral scents of pink and violet and ample aromas of red fruit. With a full taste and the right body, of good freshness with marked acidulous notes.

Villa Picta is a young wine company that is located on the border between the provinces of Mantua and Verona. and is managed with care and passion by Paolo and Laura. The vineyards bred with Lambrusco, Garganega, Merlot and Marzemino grapes are located in Villimpenta on the natural alluvial hills rich in sand and clay. In particular, it is the autochthonous variety Lambrusco Ruperti with which the most representative bottles are produced.The two hectares of vineyards are developed around the company, cared for with tireless passion, the use of systemic pesticides and herbicides is banned, pruning is carried out using the Simonit & Sirch guyot system, low yields per hectare, selection of the best bunches and the harvest it takes place exclusively by hand in boxes in the months of September and October. The winery is located in the immediate vicinity of the vineyard and all stages of the production process take place inside it from squeezing the bunches to bottling.The production philosophy enhances the method of refermentation in the bottle, both for the types of sparkling and sparkling wine.It is therefore the prolonged aging on the lees that allows us to offer a wine with a "live" character.
