Winery: Podere il Saliceto
The Podere il Saliceto farm is located in Campogalliano in the province of Modena, on the banks of the river Secchia, close to the naturalistic area of the Casse di Espansione and the Curiel Lakes. The company was founded in 2005 by two winemakers, Marcello Righi and Gianpaolo Isabella, who share the same unshakable passion for viticulture, oenology and wine. Gianpalo and marcello cultivate four hectares between Campogalliano and Saliceto using organic methods, convinced that the health and quality of the grapes are an essential foundation for obtaining distinctive and territorial wines. The main cultivated grapes are: Lambrusco Salamino, Lambrusco di Sorbara, Malbo Gentile and Trebbiano Modenese. In the cellar it is vinified according to a natural approach with spontaneous fermentation, using small and small cement tanks and stainless steel and minimum quantities of sulfur. The wines of Podere il Saliceto are characterized by a traditional style that wants wines always very vibrant for a strong acidity.
