"Nébuleuse Crémant d'Alsace" pas dosè 2023 - Catherine Riss
Pure energy and sharp minerality: Nébuleuse is the liquid portrait of the Reichsfeld hills. Catherine Riss creates an uncompromising Metodo Classico, born from sandstone and blue schist soils and vinified with a non-interventionist philosophy, without added sulfites. The palate is an explosion of verticality and wild freshness: the ultra-fine perlage accompanies notes of crisp apple and citrus, culminating in a saline and vibrant finish, typical of Pas Dosé. A "naked" wine, electric and profoundly authentic, perfect for those seeking the truest and most rebellious soul of Alsace in an extremely clean glass.

"Nébuleuse Crémant d'Alsace" pas dosè - Catherine Riss
Drinking Nébuleuse is not a simple tasting, but a direct encounter with the mineral power of the Reichsfeld hills. Catherine Riss, an icon of Alsatian natural viticulture, has transformed her Vosges sandstone and blue schist soils into a sparkling wine that vibrates with a life of its own. Born of a radical, non-interventionist philosophy, this Crémant d'Alsace is born from rigorous manual harvesting and spontaneous fermentation that respects nature's rhythms, later evolving into a disarmingly pure Classic Method. Without the addition of sulfites and with a zero dosage that lays bare its soul, Nébuleuse presents itself in the glass with an electric and subtle perlage, a prelude to a nose of crisp apple, fresh citrus, and that typical chalky, smoky trail provided by high-altitude vineyards. On the palate, it's an explosion of verticality: the sip is straight, taut, and extraordinarily clean, revealing the rock with an infinite savoriness that immediately begs for the next sip. It's a "naked" wine, free of winemaking artifice, embodying all the wild freshness of the Vosges. Perfect for those seeking a bold sparkling wine, capable of elegantly accompanying a platter of oysters, a crispy tempura, or simply a moment of authentic freedom.

Cellar: Catherine Riss
The Catherine Riss winery, located in the heart of Alsace, is an authentic expression of the territory and French winemaking tradition. Founded by the talented winemaker Catherine Riss (studies in viticulture in Burgundy, and internship in the company with Jean-Luis Trapet), the winery stands out for its dedication to biodynamic viticulture, respectful of the environment and biodiversity. The vineyards are located around the village of Reichsfeld, and are characterized by two very different types of soil. The plots south of Andlau are characterized by a soil with a predominantly sandy composition, while the others, where the Riesling vineyards and one of the two Pinot Noir, T'as pas du Schiste, are located, are composed of blue schist, very rare in Alsace . Catherine's wines are elegant and complex wines, particularly the Riesling and Pinot Noir, which reflect the purity of the Alsatian terroir. Each bottle is the result of meticulous attention to detail, combining passion, experience and respect for nature.
