Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs  - Champagne Ernest Remy

Ernest Remy's Champagne Brut Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru is not just a wine but a sensorial experience that embodies the richness of the terroir of the Reims Mountains and the mastery of a producer who has made quality his trademark. It is made 100% with Pinot Noir, the grape variety that finds its ideal home in the Montagne de Reims, one of the most prestigious areas of Champagne. Pinot Noir is the favorite grape variety in this region for its ability to express a complex structure and unique minerality. It is precisely thanks to this grape variety that Blanc de Noirs acquires a depth of flavor that makes it perfect for any occasion, from an elegant toast to a refined dinner. The grapes come from the Grand Cru terroir of Mailly-Champagne, one of the most renowned areas in the region. The limestone soils and ideal climatic conditions give the wine a distinctive finesse and character. Each bunch is manually selected during the harvest, a fundamental step to ensure that only the finest grapes enter the composition of the wine. The refinement on the yeasts takes place for at least 36 months, a period that allows the wine to refine and develop extraordinary complexity. Long aging is one of the distinctive elements of Ernest Remy, which translates into a fine and persistent perlage, and a velvety texture that envelops the palate. The dosage of approximately 7 g/l gives a vibrant freshness that perfectly balances the structure of the Pinot Noir. The result is a dry but incredibly harmonious champagne, which stands out for its finesse and its ability to accompany delicate and refined dishes, such as fish, white meats and mature cheeses. Each bottle of this Champagne Brut Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru by Ernest Remy is a testimony to the maison's long tradition and passion for the art of winemaking. It is a wine that not only tells the story of its territory, but also invites the consumer to live an experience of luxury and refinement. If you are looking for a special toast or a wine that represents the best of Champagne, Ernest Remy's Brut Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru is the ideal choice. A sip of elegance, freshness and complexity that will win you over, bottle after bottle.

Cellar: Champagne Ernest Remy

The Ernest Remy house was born in the mid-19th century, with the marriage between Isabey Remy and his wife Zelia Dubois, both children of vignerons, who created the Remy-Dubois house, with plots in Mailly Champagne and Verzenay. Located on the northern slope of the Montagne de Reims, the maison has always mainly vinified Pinot Noir and the founders sold champagne as well as selling part of the masses to negociants. These were the times of the introduction and classification of the crus, and Mailly and Verzenay returned to the Grand Crus, a reason for further satisfaction, in addition to the recognition that their wine began to receive. It was therefore Ernest Remy, nephew of the two founders, who inherited the Maison in the 1920s and to call it by its name. The arrival of the new heirs, including in particular the niece Alice and her husband Tarek, gave a strong boost to production. Tarek becomes maitre de cave and begins a fine work of developing traditions and introducing some innovations among the company's cuvées. The maison is located in the small square in the center of Mailly, right next to the Marie, the town hall, a small splendid typically Champagne picture. Inside the maison you can visit the splendid "caves" dug into the chalk, the largest in Mailly, and enjoy an environment that is typically and closely linked to the essence of the region and its main product. 55 thousand bottles are obtained from the 13 hectares owned by the family.
