Pinot Noir - Brunnenhof
The Pinot Noir from Brunnenhof is an elegant and gentle wine that comes from pure Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes come from vineyards located in the area called the Prato del Re ridge, on soil of the Triassic "sandy-clayey" and rich in minerals, where strong thermal excursions give the wine complexity and harmony. After the manual and select harvest, they are fermented in a large wooden barrel in the cellar where the must remains in contact with the skins for two weeks. The grape seed hair is pushed regularly and manually downwards in order to extract the color and aromas to the best. After malolactic fermentation, Pinot Noir rests for 2 years in oak barrels. A year in the bottle follows before it is put on the market. The Brunnenhof Pinot Noir has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, elegant aromas of red fruit with spicy and floral notes. On the palate the interaction of tannins, the alcoholic softness and the fine woody flavor give this wine its complexity and harmony.
Service
We taste it at a temperature around 16 / 18C. It is recommended to serve it in tulip glasses. Wine to be drunk immediately but if left to rest for a few years in the cellar it can give great emotions.
Pairings
Excellent wine paired with first courses with meat sauce, ideal meat pairing with stewed beef with porcini mushrooms.ni.
Winery: Brunnenhof
Brunnenhof Mazzon rises in the middle of vineyards and is owned by the Rottensteiner family since 1987. Johanna and Kurt Rottensteiner, along with their children Johann and Eve, brought the Brunnenhof to life and made it a place where wine lovers can fans enjoy pleasure and well-being. The vineyard, an oasis of vines between 300 and 450 meters high, stretches in what is considered to be the prime location for Pinot Noir in the region. Their Pinot Noir, as well as the Termeno Aromatic, stands out for its smooth flavor and velvety on the palate. Here at the Brunnenhof we will pay close attention to tradition and innovation. If the first form of cultivation of the vine was the pergola, now it is using the Guyot system. And vaulted cellar of Brunnenhof reigns a pleasant coolness; Stone, oak, steel and glass make our wine a pleasure sought and a particular favorite.
