Angel's Heart Negoska - Domaine Tatsis
An authentic, intense, and unconventional Greek red. Hailing from the hills of Gerakona in the Goumenissa zone of Macedonia, Tatsis Stergios’s Negoska reflects the character of its terroir through a rare grape variety deeply rooted in the land: 100% Negoska. Grown at an altitude of 430 meters on sloping, limestone-rich, clay-sandy soils, the grapes yield a wine with a distinctive personality. Traditional red winemaking involves natural fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in oak barrels for over twelve months. The absence of stabilization and filtration preserves the authentic expression of both the grape variety and the terroir. In the glass, it displays an intense purple-red hue with crimson highlights, while the nose reveals a harmonious, enveloping bouquet characterized by notes of plum and ripe red fruit, subtly enhanced by the elegance of oak. A wine of character, ideal for those who love discovering indigenous grape varieties, lesser-known regions, and authentic wines that stand out for their identity and personality. A genuine expression of Greek Macedonia, dedicated to those seeking something out of the ordinary.

Ideal with grilled meats, lamb, roasts, pasta with ragù, mushrooms, aged cheeses, and Greek and Mediterranean dishes such as moussaka and souvlaki.
Cellar: Domaine Tatsis
The Domaine Tatsis is located in Goumenissa, a town in the Macedonian region, an ideal place for viticulture where the soils are of limestone origin. The Tatsis family arrived here in 1924 after the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire, coming from Bulgaria. Always winegrowers, the care of the vineyards has passed from grandfather to grandchildren Periclis and Stergios, the current owners. Periklis works the land and supervises the vineyards while Stergios is the oenologist Today there are 14 hectares of vines grown with the classic Greek vines: Roditis l 'Alepou, and Malagousia for whites, and Negoska, Xinomavro for reds. The Domaine Tatsis is among the first in Greece to believe in biodynamic agriculture and the Tatsis brothers intervene as little as possible both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
