Premno Red - Domaine Tatsis 

A natural red wine from Greek Macedonia, crafted by Domaine Tatsis. It undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and receives no filtration or stabilization. Aged in both tanks and oak barrels, it retains its authentic, terroir-driven character. Fresh, rustic, and vibrant on both the nose and palate, it offers hints of wild berries and delicate spicy notes. An honest, food-friendly wine full of personality, perfect paired with roast meats, game, grilled dishes, and aged cheeses.

Service

We recommend tasting it at a temperature of 16/18° in tulip glasses. Wine to be drunk immediately to be drunk immediately but will express its best in a few years. We recommend keeping it in a horizontal position in a cool, damp and dark cellar.

Pairing

Ideal with grilled meats, lamb, roasts, pasta with ragù, mushrooms, aged cheeses, and Greek and Mediterranean dishes such as moussaka and souvlaki.

The Domaine Tatsis is located in Goumenissa, a town in the Macedonian region, an ideal place for viticulture where the soils are of limestone origin. The Tatsis family arrived here in 1924 after the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire, coming from Bulgaria. Always winegrowers, the care of the vineyards has passed from grandfather to grandchildren Periclis and Stergios, the current owners. Periklis works the land and supervises the vineyards while Stergios is the oenologist Today there are 14 hectares of vines grown with the classic Greek vines: Roditis l 'Alepou, and Malagousia for whites, and Negoska, Xinomavro for reds. The Domaine Tatsis is among the first in Greece to believe in biodynamic agriculture and the Tatsis brothers intervene as little as possible both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
