An elegant, profound Pinot Noir from the Menetou-Salon appellation, hailing from the *Les Chandelières* vineyard site on Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils. The east-facing vines, planted between 1975 and 1978, yield a wine of fine, harmonious character. Vinified using approximately 20% whole clusters and a three-week maceration, it is aged for 18 months in 600-liter barrels and tanks, developing balance and complexity. On the palate, it is soft, silky, and deep, featuring elegant tannins and a structure that is less pronounced—more fluid and refined—than that of other *crus*. It pairs perfectly with grilled bluefin tuna, red meat, and roast poultry: a red wine of great finesse and exceptional food-friendliness.

Service

It is advisable to taste it at a temperature of 16/18° in tulip goblets. Wine to drink immediately but you can leave a few years in the cellar.

Pairings

A pleasant wine always, better during the meal if accompanied with roast meats and spicy cheeses.
