Hors-Rouge AOC by Domaine Philippe Gilbert is a wine that expresses the pure essence of the Menetou-Salon terroir. Fermentation involves 50% whole clusters, and the wine is aged in large 90-hectolitre wooden casks without the addition of sulfites. It is bottled without fining or filtration, preserving the true expression of the fruit and the land. Visually bright and lively, it captivates the nose with intense aromas of redcurrant, cranberry, and small wild berries, accompanied by delicate spicy nuances and elegant earthy notes. On the palate, it offers extraordinary freshness, a crisp tannic structure, and refined energy, leading to a long, savory, and harmonious finish. The Hors-Rouge cuvée is produced only in the best vintages, resulting in a Pinot Noir of rare precision that masterfully combines depth, finesse, and exceptional drinkability.

Service

It is advisable to taste it at a temperature of 16/18° in tulip goblets. Wine to drink immediately but you can leave a few years in the cellar.
