The Rosso di Montalcino by Podere Fornacella is a blunt and direct wine made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes. It has a ruby red color. Piandorino - Pian dell’Orino
The Rosso di Montalcino by Podere Fornacella is a blunt and direct wine made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes. The grapes come from vineyards grown organically. After a manual harvest and careful selection in the vineyard, in the cellar fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers with maceration on the skins for a few days. The wine is then aged for a year in French oak barrels and one year in the bottle. Rosso di Montalcino has a ruby red color. On the nose aromas of great typicality, with notes of red and floral fruits. On the palate it has a good structure, excellent drink with light tannins followed by a nice finish of red fruits. A generous wine to drink, and it is excellent to combine with the ground meat cuisine.
Service
It is advisable to serve the Rosso di Montalcino at a temperature of 16/18 ° in tulip goblets. Wine to drink immediately but leave some ano in the cellar can give great emotions.
