Le Piane's Nebbiolo Colline Novaresi is an elegant red wine, with structure and refinement, fruit and complexity. Vinified and aged in steel. A red wine that will be loved by all Nebbiolo enthusiasts.

Service

We taste it at a temperature of 16/18° in tulip glasses. Daily wine but, left to rest in the cellar for a few years, it can give beautiful emotions. It is advisable to open it a few minutes before tasting.

Pairings

To drink with tajarin with meat sauce, with boiled meat, to try with a plate of aged cheeses.

Cellar: Le Piane

Le Piane is the dream of Christoph Kuenzli and his friend Alexander Trolf who in the early nineties visited this region, the upper Piedmont, several times, falling in love with its beauty. Over time they have had the good fortune to meet Antonio Cerri, one of the last producers of those years, who convinced them to continue his adventure. They bought from him the nucleus of "Le Piane" and continued over time to buy many small plots of wood to then form blocks of vineyards of at least one and a half hectares in the best positions of the Boca DOC appellation. Among the rows, in addition to Nebbiolo, here called Spanna, there are other indigenous varieties such as vespolina and Croatina. The vineyards are located on soils rich in gravel on the surface and enjoy a particularly favorable microclimate for the cultivation of the vine. In the vineyard, only copper and sulfur are used, with organic pesticides such as algae and mycorrhizae, while in the cellar the fermentations are spontaneous, thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts. with the main objective of enhancing and enhancing all that the season and the territory have been able to tell in the fruit. The result is wines that are balanced, of great potential and identity of the terroir of origin which, season after season, regularly attest to high quality standards.
