Adele - Eric Texier
Splendid white wine obtained from the Clairette vine in purity. The grapes come from old vineyards located on the soil of granite origin of the Rhone of the South. The fermentation is spontaneous in cement tanks with only indigenous yeasts and without the addition of sulfur dioxide. Refine in the same tanks for 7 months. Unfiltered before being bottled. Adele is straw-yellow in color. On the nose a vortex of aromas ranging from fruit such as apple and peach, to floral, to notes of chamomile, beeswax and aromatic herbs. At the sip it is round, with a nice touch of acidity and sapidity.
Service
We recommend tasting it at a temperature of 8/10 ° in a tulip glass. Wine to drink immediately but will express its best in a few years. It is advisable to keep it in a horizontal position in a cool, damp and dark cellar.
Pairing
It goes well with first courses based on vegetables, second courses of fish, to try with a Provencal sole.
Winery: Eric Texier
Eric Texier, engineer of training and gastonomo for passion, after having traveled all over France to observe the work of winemaker, decides to stop in the Vallèe du Rhone, where he buys a small vineyard in Valence in the Cotes du Rhone fifteen years ago. Eric has an idea in mind, to produce wines that are fine, elegant, with a moderate alcohol content and that combine good aging potential. The vineyards grown in Syrah, Roussane, Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan and Chasselas are processed in organic with some principles of permaculture. In the winery the vinifications are spontaneous in steel or wood containers in full cluster, as in the local tradition, refining in tonneau and bottled without filtration .. Today Eric Texier is helped by his son Martin who helps his father with enthusiasm and energy. The wines of Eric are expressive, and to drink them is like taking a journey through time, tasting a tradition, a terroir, a 'satisfaction of taste buds.
