Quartara - Lunarossavini
The "Quartara" by Lunarossavini is a white wine of great structure and richness of aromas, obtained from 100% Fiano grapes. Its name comes from the particular type of amphora once used in southern Italy to store wine. After the manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and placed with the skins in 250-liter quarts, where fermentation takes place spontaneously and can last, depending on the vintage, from 60 to 90 days. Subsequently it ages for 12 months in oak barrels and is bottled without filtration and without clarification.
Service
It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 10/12 ° in tulip glasses. To be drunk immediately but left a few years in the cellar it can give great emotions.
Pairing
Quartara is a wine for the whole meal that goes well with rich fish appetizers, fish first courses, to try with crab linguine.

Lunarossavini was born in 2006 in Giffoni Valle Piana, in the province of Salerno, and becomes a sincere and dynamic expression of a luxuriant territorial area of suggestive beauty: the Picentini Mountains, from which the Amalfi and Cilento coasts are dominated, whose sea breeze influences the land of both calcareous and clayey nature. On the one hand, the firm will to preserve the past, the traditions and the ancestral soul; on the other the momentum of evolving towards the future, knowing that there is no progress without a tradition from which to start, make Lunarossavini a precious gem of this territory with a high viticulture vocation. This approach, aimed at respecting and reflecting the natural trend of the vintages and therefore the expression more sincere than varietals, it is accompanied by passion, enthusiasm and a unique interpretation by the patron of the cellar Mario Mazzitelli who manages to give personality and character to his wine. It will be the long macerations of the grapes, the delicate refinements in the amphorae, the quiet rest in the bottle and the continuous flashes of innovation that make these signature wines. The aim is never to produce a predictable wine. It's the little differences that make the difference!
