Koreaa - Judith Beck

Koreaa by Judith Beck is a white wine that is the result of an assembly of different grapes. After harvesting, the various grapes are vinified all together. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. The must remains in contact with the skins for about four days. After fermentation, the wine ages in used oak barrels for about seven months. A wine that impresses with fresh and overwhelming notes of fruit and citrus. On the palate it is fresh, mineral, pleasant to drink.

Service

We taste it at a temperature of 8/10 ° in Tulip glasses. Wine to drink immediately but will express the best of itself in a few years.

Pairing

Koreaa is great with starters, first fish dishes, to try with a mayonnaise trout.

Cellar:  Judith Beck

Judith Beck's winery is located in Burgenland, Austria's easternmost region, between Vienna and Hungary. Key to this area are the famous Neusiedlersee lake, rich in rare migratory birds and the Parndorfer Platte, a 200 km long plain characterized by strong winds. Here the soil is very varied and within a single vineyard you can find limestone areas but also the presence of sand, humus and gravel. This allows for complex and multifaceted wines that, thanks to Judith's minimalist intervention, two-dynamic since 2007, best express the territory; they are authentic and genuine wines with great identity, as indeed are also the cultivated grapes, traditional from Burgenland such as Zweigelt, Blaufrankisch or Weissburgunder.
