Service
We taste the Chablis at a temperature of 8/10 ° in a tulip chalice. Wine to drink immediately but will express its best in a few years.
Pairings
Great to match with seafood, a second of vegetables, to try with salmon in the oven with vegetables.
Cellar: Domaine Colette Gros
Domaine Colette Gros is located in the Chablis area, the northernmost of the 5 zones of Borgona, bordering the Champagne region. The Domaine is prominent by the Gautheron family, Chablis winemakers for five generations, and presently the winery run is run by Alain Gautheron along with his wife Cyril. Alain Gautheron cultivates his Chardonnay vines on the grounds of Premier Cru Fourneaux, one of the most interesting of the 17 Premier Crus in Chablis, where the soil is mainly composed of plaster that gives the wines the minerality and the typical acidity of the Chablis. Two produced wines: one Chablis refined base in steel and the Premier Cru Fourneaux refined in barrel large to give it more complexity. The Domaine Colette Gros wines are deep, mineral and have nothing to envy to wines produced more south, that is in the Côte de Beaune.
