Alea Viva is a red wine made from pure red grapes that grow on a volcanic soil at 450 m above sea level. 18 months aging in steel / cement barrels and at least 2 months in bottle before being put on the market. Alea Viva has a ruby hue with a nail that turns towards the garnet. Delicate on the nose with floral notes of pink and violet and fruity sensations of dark tones, which evoke berries and plum. Obtained from red grapes grown in purity growing on volcanic soil at 450 m.m. The fermentation is spontaneous with only native yeasts in small cement bins, with maceration on 15 day skins. Aging for 18 months in steel / cement barrels and at least 2 months in bottle before placing on the market. Alea Viva has a ruby shade with a nail leading towards the garnet. The delicate nose on floral notes of pink and violet and fruity feelings of dark shades that evoke the berries and plum. In the mouth it is enveloping, warm with fruity returns and a large gustative development and a long finish on ferrous notes.
Service
It is advisable to taste it at a temperature of 8/10 ° in tulip goblets. Daily wine but left to rest in the cellar a few years can have a wonderful evolution.

The company Andrea Occhipinti is located in Gradoli, on the shores of Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe. Andrea is well acquainted with these areas by having studied as a student during her Laure Agraria course and has been the subject of her graduation thesis. Andrea started his project in 2004 by acquiring 6 hectares of vineyards that are on a hill in a beautiful location, with excellent sun exposure and lake microclimate allowing for a qualitatively superior production.
